NELSON BRANCH

Following the visit of two English CMS stalwarts, Dr Eugene Stock and the Rev R W Stewart, to Nelson in October 1892, the New Zealand Church Missionary Association was formed in Nelson in the same month.  In 1915 its name was changed to the New Zealand Church Missionary Society and the society's headquarters were shifted first to Wellington and then later to Christchurch.

OUR LOCAL NELSON BRANCH

In addition to organizing meetings for Mission Partners when they are here on furlough, our aim is to keep people informed, to pray regularly, and to give responsibly to support those NZCMS Mission Partners who have gone out to preach, to teach and to heal and to challenge others to do the same.
